Egyptian Contest!

February 2012's Contest Theme is... "Egyptian!” Kagome and Sesshomaru find love in adventure in the land of pyramids and sphinxes! Did anyone bring any water for the heat?!

IMPORTANT! Remember that this group is kept going by its fans. And to keep contests fun and active, we want to be able to give all our winners prizes, which isn't always easy. We always struggle with it.

THE RULES

Create an image of Kagome and Sesshomaru in an egyptian themed setting  Sesshomaru Pharaoh? Kagome, Egyptian Princess? Indiana Jones adventure in ancient Egyptian ruins? Be creative!

Both Kagome AND Sesshomaru must be included in the picture, though you may include other characters in your entry as well.

DO NOT use screenshots, or simply trace over screenshots or movie covers, or anything else similar in nature. The idea is to do a creative interpretation of some of your favorite movie scenes!

Please state in your submission what movie you are referencing.

Mature contest is allowed, as long as it adheres to Deviantart rules and regulations and is marked "mature."

Short comics/doujinshi are accepted AS LONG AS THEY ARE CONTAINED WITHIN ONE DEVIATION. That means no multiple pages/posts please.

Only deviations that are created After February 11th, 2012 will be accepted. Please do not submit older existing work that were made prior to this contest.

Each contestant can submit up to 3 fanart entries.

PLEASE SUBMIT ONLY COMPLETED ARTWORKS! This means do not put in "works in progress". This also includes submitting in uncolored lineart when you are planning to submit another entry of the same piece that IS colored. This will be considered a "duplicate entry" and will be removed from the contest folder.

Self-created works only. Please don't use official artwork/photomanipulation of such artworks. This also includes using other artist's work that is not your own. Using reference is fine, but DO NOT TRACE! Any work violating this rule will be removed from the contest immediately.

No icons or stamps are allowed.

ALL SUBMISSIONS FOR THIS CONTEST SHOULD BE SUBMITTED INTO THE "Egyptian CONTEST" Folder. sesskag.deviantart.com/gallery…

If for some reason, you've submitted your entry into the incorrect folder, PLEASE NOTE me about your submission, include a link, possibly WHAT folder you put it in, and please state that it is for this contest in your comments as well. After receiving your entry, I will move it to the "Movie Moments" Folder. This must be done ASAP and before voting commences.
